5 things weight-loss peptide users run short on
The appetite goes. These go with it. Most people notice around week eight.

GLP-1s, GLP-1/GIP combinations and the triple agonists behind them all do the same job: calorie intake drops by up to 39%. [1] The weight loss is real. So is the drop in everything that used to arrive with the food. Here is what slides first, in the order people usually feel it.

1. Protein and the essential amino acids
Two small meals a day rarely clear 100g of protein. Without the nine essential amino acids, muscle protein synthesis switches off and the body takes muscle to make up the difference. In the semaglutide trial, 40% of the weight lost was lean mass. [2]
Fireblood: all 9 EAAs, 5.1g per scoop, leucine 992mg.

2. Vitamin B12
B12 lives in meat, eggs and dairy, the foods that get cut first when appetite drops. Long-term GLP-1 users see levels fall about 15% in a year, and one in five become deficient. [3] That is the afternoon flatness.
Fireblood: methylcobalamin, the active form.

3. Vitamin D
Newly diagnosed vitamin D deficiency reaches 13.6% within twelve months of starting a GLP-1. [4] D is fat-soluble, and lower fat intake means lower absorption of what little you get. The stronger the peptide, the smaller the meals.
Fireblood: 2,000 IU D3 with K1 and K2.

4. Electrolytes
These peptides blunt thirst as well as hunger. Less sodium and potassium coming in, less water to carry it. Cramps, headaches, and that heavy-legged feeling on the stairs.
Fireblood: potassium, chloride, sodium from pink Himalayan salt.

5. Magnesium and zinc
Both come mostly from the volume of food you are no longer eating. Magnesium is sleep and muscle. Zinc is protein synthesis and testosterone. Cheap oxide forms upset a stomach that is already touchy.
Fireblood: 100mg chelated magnesium, 11mg zinc bisglycinate.
You could buy all five separately. That is a shelf of bottles and about $250 a month. Or one 10g scoop in cold juice every morning, every dose printed on the label.
